Introducing Sweet Baby A!

Although we frequently book before birth, we always check in as soon as the baby is born to try to get him or her in around the 8 days old mark, BUT most importntly we always wait until the "newborn" and his or her family are healthy and ready for newborn portraits.

This "newborn" was more than 2 months old when we photographed her. We ended up with lots of wide open eyes, but also achieved gorgeous, relaxed sleepy poses. There is no "wrong" age to capture your baby.

We get the best photographs when the parent(s) and baby feel relaxed, loved and comforted. Timing matters way less than that.

This baby will very likely be returning with her sibling for her sitter session (sitting up photos at roughly 7 months of age) and her first birthday.

I love choosing something (a color, subtle prop, outfit....) to tie in the newborn, sitter and one-year portraits so they all work together seamlessly on the walls.
